Four U-19 players who will feature in IPL 2020

The 2020 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was held in South Africa from 17 January to 9 February 2020. It was the 13 edition of Under-19 Cricket World Cup and the second to be held in South Africa. Sixteen teams took part in the tournament, split into four groups of four. India were the defending champions.

Defending champion India, remained unbeaten until the finals before they lost to Bangladesh. Bangladesh beat India by three wickets to win the tournament. It was Bangladesh's first win in an ICC event at any level.

Here’s a list of Indian U-19 players who will participate in the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League -

Yashasvi Jaiswal



He awarded by the Man of the match series with 400 runs scored in the Under-19 World Cup. During the resent IPL auction, Jaiswal went to Rajasthan Royals for huge amount of 2.4 crores.


Ravi Bishnoi


Bishnoi finised with 17 wickets in the Under-19 World cup. He took 4 wickets in final match against Bangladesh. During the resent IPL auction, Bishnoi went to Kings XI Punjab for amount of 2 crores.


Priyam Garg


Priyam was the Captain of Under-19 World cup. Sunrisers Hyderabad offered an amount of 1.9 crores for the services of Garg. 


Kartik Tyagi


The pacer who impressed the most in the tournament and took 11 wickets in his name. 
During the resent IPL auction, Kartik went to Rajasthan Royals for amount of 1.3 crores.

 Mohammad Siraj against KKR  Playing just his fourth game of the season, Mohammad Siraj took the new ball against Kolkata Knight Riders. Siraj became the first bowler to bowl two maiden overs in an IPL match.
